Eco Tools Skin Perfecting Brush

I promised a review on this brush I got the other day, and what´s promised it´s due.
I bought this brush last week at the drugstore and immediately thought of contouring. So, when I got home I tried it with my cream contour and loved it. While experimenting I got to try it with my foundation and liked it even better.

Skin Perfecting Brush In It's Original Packaging

It´s amazingly precise because it´s angled, it´s not as dense as I imagined it to be and it´s quite small so it takes a bit of time to apply foundation in a flawless way.
This brush is recommended to be used with BB or CC cream but, I personally don´t use neither of those any more so, I gave it a go with my Laura Mercier Silk Cream Foundation and ended up with a great result since they have a similar texture.

Laura Mercier Silk Cream Foundation (Cashew Beige)

Later during the week I got to washing it and ended up amazingly satisfied because it cleanses really fast and I use baby shampoo so nothing that's harsh on the brush or anything on that matter.
I didn't notice any shedding which made me really happy. Since it was so affordable I was't expecting the bristles to be glued that well to the handle but you keep surprising me for the good EcoTools.

EcoTools Skin Perfecting Brush Post-Wash

As I previously mentioned this is super affordable, it retailed for around 6$ where I got it from (Farmacias Metro Plus).

My overall thought on this brush is that it's great, not the brush you want if you do your makeup in a hurry, but if you have time to perfect and polish your foundation definitely go get it.

I hope you enjoyed and found this review helpful. Let me know if you tried it and what where your thoughts on it.

"5 Beauty Wonders With Coconut Oil"

Around six months ago I took the challenge of using coconut oil as my makeup remover instead of the Neutrogena one I've used for the past 2 years. And so, I headed to the local organic shop (by that time that was the only place you could get it here in Panama)  and got myself the smallest jar of coconut oil I could find. This store only carried one brand of coconut oil by the time which is Nutiva. When I saw the retail price for it I freaked out because it was fourteen dollars for a jar of oil. Anyways I considered the amount of good reviews I've read about it, and ended up purchasing it. BEST CHOICE I'VE MADE EVER. This has done wonders on my skin!
And today I'll present five amazing beauty tips you can do at home with some coconut oil.

                                                                              NOT MY PICTURE

 1. Moisturiser:
From head to toe, this is one of the best natural and effective ways to hydrate that thirsty skin. Get rid of ashy elbows, knees and stubborn dry patches by moisturising you skin with this natural skin lotion.

2. Makeup Remover:
Amazing for removing that waterproof liner or mascara you use. This has been my salvation since I started wearing false eyelashes because it's the only thing that completely removes the residue of the glue left on the natural lashes.

3. Deep Repair Hair Mask:
Hide your split ends! The day you are washing your hair, apply some coconut oil from tip to root. Leave it for around an hour or overnight. After washing it you will end up with shiny, healthy looking hair with a slight coconut scent.

4. Dry Shave:
I dare you. Dry shaving usually leaves razor burns or a rash because the skin reacts against the razor. Apply some product over the skin and shave right away. Wash your legs really well and apply a slight amount of oil through your legs. This will help bring moisture back to the skin.
You will end up with smooth and shiny legs.

5. Exfoliate:
Get rid of that old scaly skin and show a brighter healthy look with some oil and sugar.
All you will need is brown sugar and coconut oil. My personal recipe is a cup of brown sugar and half a cup of coconut oil. This will be enough for my entire body. ( I don't apply this on my face because I have highly sensible skin)

Extra Tip!
Oil pulling:
A step a bit more risky. This helps your teeth cleanse and lighten color. All you need is a tablespoon of coconut oil and leave it on your teeth for around ten minutes. Brush your teeth and the'll appear way lighter.

(PS: If you live in Panama, you can now get coconut oil at Riba Smith and Supermercados Rey)
